Bethesda has revealed what could be the very first screenshot of the very first Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim DLC pack.
The pic surfaced on the Bethblog Twitter account this afternoon under the short, suggestive title “tomorrow”. Check it out and tell us what you think – there’s a chance the firm’s teasing another fantasy action IP, like Dishonored or even DOOM 4, but that straggly hairdo has Nord written all over it.
Facebook user Ben Ruddock makes the following, rather plausible observations. “Looks like a Stormcloak being interrogated by a Thalmor agent. Check out the collar and pointy ears on the dude in the foreground.” Keep ‘em coming.
Is this Skyrim’s first DLC screenshot? Skyrim is due a Kinect support update in the week beginning 23rd April. The game’s first two DLC packs will be timed Xbox 360 exclusives, launching 30 days ahead of other platforms.
It’s thought said DLC packs will take us to locations from Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind and Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, following the discovery of low-resolution Solstheim, Imperial City and Vvardenfell models on the Skyrim disc. In possibly related news, Bethesda owner ZeniMax has trademarked the name “Dawnguard” for use with downloadable game software.
